Artist Statement

I have set out to create paintings that are visually pleasing, suggest an emotion, a feeling or memory and bring my energy into a room.

I create artwork of varying sizes, hues, textures and subjects. With each piece, I try to capture an emotion and explore all of its possibilities. By using an assortment of mediums and a variety of painting styles, I am able to create a body of work that exudes both diversity and originality.

I enjoy exploring different palettes with each series I create. My inspiration comes from the colours of the world around me. I am fascinated with colour and its many suggestions. With each stroke of my brush, I aim to create art that excites and intrigues all those who see it.
